98 civic EX headlight bulb question...

Is there a trick to getting the power connector off the bulb? I have been trying to get damn thing off for hours now and it just sits there laughing. All of the directions that i have found say to pull it off. I have pulled and pulled and nothing. Is there something i am missing? Also do you need to remove the power-steering fluid res. in order to get the drivers side bulb out, my hand is way to big fit back there.

any help would be great.

(Just an aside)
When i find the idiot mechanic that put my oil drain bolt back on with an impact wrench I am going to squash him.

it's been a while since i last changed bulbs.... but i believe there's a small tab on the connector that you push down THEN you pull. did you get the bulb out of the housing yet or are you still trying to get it out? as for the power steering resevor, i don't know many people with small enough hands to get in there. Just pull it straight up and it'll be able to move enough to get out of the way.

press tabs on side then pull. as for the drain bolt, use a breaker bar or extra wrench for more torque.

Thanks as always. as for the bulb i have not yet gotten it out. Going to go try again now. And the oil bolt, buying a impact wrench this weekend. i figure why not have it around instead of needing it and having to borrow one.

that guy said you can just pull up the resevoir and they say you can, but still it's a tight squeeze, your better off just removing it, that's what i did and it made it way easier to get to the bulbs
