WIP BMW Williams FW24

Here are some shots of my Tamiya FW24 well under way. I an using the lionroar photoetch set and lots of SMS carbon fiber decals.

Thats where the project is at. There is still lots of stuff to do. But I am pretty happy so far.

Superb. Welcome to AF, that is a great model but did how did you paint the two sections that need to be glued, as you need to sand away the join line.

Did you have to mask all the seat up etc and then spray the white /blue?

I have not painted or glued the main body together yet it is just micked up. I still need to finish off the cockpit before i blue the body together.

Oops.. Yeah it was early in the morning when I posted this, and didn't look too well. I saw the front nose and didn't notice the main body was still all white...

Interested to know what you have planned. I've got this kit, and was upset to see that Tamiya had done this, as I'm hoping to get the SMS super detail kit.

Here are some more shots, up close you can see lots of flaws but hey, I am only 18 so I still have time to improve my skills.
