Engine lost power and died

I have a 94 hinda civic ex with the v-tec engine. I was driving to get parts for a tune up because the car started missing. On my way home it lost power and then died. It won't restart, turns over but won't start. Could this be my ECM or could it be the coils. It had been idling a little rough, but when driving was fine, power acceleration where fine. It also has over 200,000 miles? Any ideas?

Re: Engine lost power and died

im not tryin to say that you're stupid and you ran out of gas, but i've seen it happen on a couple of different occasions. They people replaced a whole assortment of parts just to realize that they were out of gas. Check that first just to 1000% sure

Re: Engine lost power and died

the basic check for spark and fuel would be a good place to start.
