2003 Ford Taurus

I have a question i just bought a 2003 Ford Taurus fully loaded with a dual overhead cams 24 valves, how many others have one of these cars? Also what are the normal gas mpg, how fast do you go thru a tank! Any thing helps!

Well, I have a 98 Taurus, but I too have the 24valve duratec engine. I typically get 250-300 mpg with the way I drive... and I like to have a heavy foot.

mines an 01, I get around 25mpg mix city/highway driving. I fill up at or around half tank which is around 200 miles, but its only 8 gallons or less at half, and the tank is 18 gal. Do the math. These aren't the most economical cars thats for sure, but mine gets the same mileage as my dodge stratus with 2.4L 4cyl engine. And the 24V DOHC has gobs more torque and power.
