perfect 1st gear pull

i have a 95 eclipse... and i want to know how to do the PERFECT first gear pull. i know its an art, but what are the basics? is there a perfect rpm range or what? any details on it?

If you don't mind beating your car to hell, try revin' her to 6500 rpm and side stepping the clutch. Effective, but not recomended unless it happens to be a rental then let her buck!

Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order.

Yes. Tons of seat time is the only way to really get good at it. After going to the track twice a week for nearly a whole season I could consistently pull low 1.6s on 17" low profile all season tires, with a best of 1.55. I don't even know what I do differently now, but your brain just figures it out.
