obd1 conversion question

When converting to obd1, if i purchase the dizzy conversion harness do i still need to purchase the obd1 dizzy? or can i use the obdo one?

The point of buying the OBD1 dizzy conversion harness, is to use the OBD1 dizzy on the stock wiring harness... So, the conversion harness will not plug into the OBD0 dizzy... And even if it did, you HAVE to use the OBD1 dizzy if your running an OBD1 ECU...

So in short, buying one is pointless since if the OBD0 dizzy would work in the OBD1 conversion, you wouldnt even need the conversion harness, it would plug right in...

when converting to obd1 you need a obd1 dizzy and ecu...to some it all up...if your thinking about converting to that i have a 100% complete harness and dizzy adapter to convert from obd0 to obd1 on ebay right now by rywire and jkodb

Thats what i thought, but someone somewhere i remember reading that you can just rewire the obd0 dizzy to obd1 so i was just double checking... and i was goin to be pissed if i bought the obd1 dizzy for nothing, you wont just take it off ebay and sell it to me! muauhaa

lol if you would told me before it went on there i would have...I just threw all my project on there that way i dont have to hassel back and forth with anybody...but ya you cant why and odd0 dizzy for a obd1 so you didnt lose no money on that thing...you went the right way...

yes you cant rewire a obd0 for obd1.

you can though use a obd2 dist for your obd1 conversion.
