I remember when I was at your age, buying kits rushing home and building them in less then a week.

It's a good way to get onto the hobby.. Hopefully you will stay a while and then you will learn lots of cool model building stills.

Welcome to AF.

Update
Almost done but i really need some help with my painting stuff. what paint do you guys use and what methods of painting do you use because my paintjob sucks and my model glue i have actually took off some of the paint on the back near the tail lights so thats messed up. but other than the paint im pretty much almost done just a few more parts to add and it will be finished.

sorry for this fuzzy pic of the rear but you can tell where i screwed up with the glue and the paint came off

please comment and explain to me how to paint like you guys do because my paintjob compared to other peoples is absolutly horrible. thanks.

You need to read -

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...threadid=89313

All you need to know on how to get a great finish to your paintjob. Above all though, it's all about practice and practice and practice some more.

It takes time, don't expect a top rate paint job on your first model. It'll come with time. As for glue, read the entire FAQ thread. Loads of information there, and get some -

CA glue
White Glue
Plastic Cement

Armed with this, the FAQ and the paintguides you will be better prepared for your next model.

Finished Car:

Well i finished the civic today. im really not happy with the way it turned out but i figure for a first car i didnt completly screw it up. i bought another honda today as well so i can do it over again hopefully addressing some of my shortcomings. i also bought a cadillac escalade to do for a main project as well. well heres the pictures let me know what you think.

P.S.-some parts are not there because they either got lost broken or just too screwed up to put on.
