blistering clearcoat

Anyone elses Cavalier's clearcoat blistering and flaking off.
At first it was only a hand sized spot behind the sunroof, now its about the size of a dinner plate and is starting on the top door seal.

Any suggestions besides getting a new paint job.

I've got the same problem on my 01 black, right right below the driver side door window. I talked to an auto body shop about it a while back and he said it'd cost me a few hundred bucks to repaint. probably around 300 or so.

Re: Re: blistering clearcoat

To answer a few questions, it was purchased band new in 1999 and I have been the only owner, I have used nothing but Maguires products on it.

It has spread over the last few weeks as of right now the only areas not blistering is the trunk and hood.

Guess I'll wait until spring and just get it repainted.
