CD20 diesel engine pump timing

I replaced my CD17 engine with a CD20 abt a year ago. Blew the head gasket on the CD20. I replaced the gasket, after reconditioning the head of course but now I can't seem to get the pump timing correct. I'm OK at gas engines but this diesel thing is new to me.

Can someone explain to me in as detail as possible , how do I get the pump timing correct?

Finally gave up and got a diesel mechanic to start the engine for me. He would not tell me what he did.

However after considering searching and digging around I came across this link. It's for the B13 Sentra, but the section on the CD20 engine should help.

Volume 1 had all the answers, thankyou very much for that. The info was on page EM206 to EM211.

Glad I could help. Is your CD20 the turbo or non-turbo model? If turbo, is it intercooled and also does it have it's own computer or does it work off the car's computer? What vehicle by the way?

It seems a password is now required :-(. This was not always so.

One file is 71MB and the other is 220MB. Do you use P2P software? If so,I'd be happy to share them with you.

NO i do not use p2p. However tell me which one you use or any other revelant information and i wil organise to get it done. I hve a friend who uses some form of P2p and he has DSL connection. do appreciate the assistance.

I use either Shareaza or Limewire Pro. I have a dial-up connection though, but you should be able to get the files within a day or so.
