CD player

I bougth a 2000 Towncar without a CD player. I have an Alpine six (6) Cd player in my Chevy and would like to install it in my Towncar. I would appreciate some help where to find instructions how to install.
Thank you.

Re: CD player

Does the head unit fit in where the old radio sat? If not, then you will either want to buy an adaptor plate or rig up your own creation. Get an adaptor harness for the speaker and power wiring and you should be good to go. I assume the changer is separate from the head unit. that will install the same way it did when it was in your chevy.

Re: CD player

You can get the dash and wiring adapters Remnar 87 was talking about real cheap at walmart. These adapters come with instructions for setup. A haynes or chiltons manual will simplify dashboard disassembly for radio installation.
