Re: Fdtt

people who give an actual milage on the engine are the people you woudl want to take there advice with a grain of salt.

If the car has been taken care of, and you have availabel records of work done and such then it coudl verywell last you quite a few more miles. I have seen some pretty dam impressive things with FC's, especialy NA ones. Do a compression test, drive the car and try to put it through its paces. If everythign seems to be in good shape then i woudl probably pick up the car if the price is right.

Re: Fdtt

"92 rx7 GTU" Everything in this is wrong.

Better find out more about the car. There was no FC made in 92, perhaps sold, but not made. '91 was the last year and it was not called the GTU. It was only called the "Coupe, Convertible or Turbo II" depending on model.

There is a section i bolder out from there. Pay close attention to it.

Now that you have doen that walk slowly away from the car. Highschool kid=rat bagged car. 500miles=500miles of redlining and hard driving when cold.

That and after looking over your post i realise the hole issues with the stuff you posted.
North America never recieved any FC boddied RX7's in 1992. We went from early 1991 (our last FC) to late 1992 (first FD's sold as 93's).

Time to do some serious research on this car or just look at something else cause the majic 8 ball says .... This FC is not to be.

Re: Fdtt

Well if it's in good shape, 1000 isn't too bad. And if it runs well (but who knows how much longer), then 1000 is a nice price.
