My 1996 406 Turbo Executive is suffering from overheating when moving slowly in traffic jams, I t just creeps up and the fans do not sound as if they are cutting in!
The only way to dissipate the heat is to ramp up the Air Con to 30c and open the windows, which is not ideal if it is raining. Anybody any ideas as to what I should be looking at? |

Re: Overheating
the obvious answer would be to see if in fact the cooling fans are not running, with the a/c on you should get low speed fan operation (thats a clue) but you also have to find out what system is fitted one fan or two fans also how many speeds I have come across various causes for cooling fans faults from duff motors to faulty wiring or relay faults sorry but not easy to pin point without more info
