Grayscale S-Video

I have a spare desktop, do I went to Radioshack and bought an s-video cable and a suitable audio cable.

I connected it all to my tv, and fired up the desktop, it came on, but its all in grayscale. This TV is about4-5 years old, abd my newr 2 year old tv can recieve the color. I'm not sure why my older tv cant use the color s-video.

I'v updated my drivers and such, but it still doesnt work. I've googled to no solution, what should i try next?

BTW, my laptop does not send color s-video to my older tv either, but does to the newer one.
