Re: Rims
You could put 15's on it if you really wanted LOLOLOLOL. You could go as big as 20's too if you really wanted. What are you wanting to know? Dont go any narrower than 8" wide since thats stock size and anything less is a downgrade. Bolt pattern is 5 x 114.3. I am not 100% sure but I think you need 40mm offset. You may want to double check on that though.

Re: Rims
ya, i was searching around for rim widths the other day. while converting a given rim width, say 8" to centimeter width (200cm), i was a bit confused b/c my car has 225/55/16's and how could a rim width vary by 25cm and the tire still fit?
turns out, rim width isn't that critical. the same width of tire will fit on different rim widths. i THINK the tire width (e.g. the '225' number in my example) is only the tread width. the widest part of the tire would be measure where the sidewalls bulge outwards a little bit. so basically, there are things and details to know about rims when buying.

Re: Re: Rims
well you dont really want a rim wider than the tire itself. I have 245/50's on some 16's. They are the same diameter as the 225/55's but 20mm wider. They are on 8" wider wheels too.
But yes the first number is the tread width in mm. Take that number divided by 25,4 to convert it to inches. The second number is aspect ratio for sidewall height. so 225/25.4=~8.89inches(tread width) 8.89*.55=~4.89(sidewall hieght) 4.89*2=9.78+16=25.78 (tire diameter)
