bushings in lower control arm(1998 4x4 v8)
I have a creek in the front-end. Sounds like its coming from the control arm, can I change the bushings in the control-arm? 240 000km on truck

Re: bushings in lower control arm(1998 4x4 v8)
The creeking sound most of the times is the front sway bar bushings. What you can do is remove the outter "U" clamp bolts on the bar and swing the sway bar down and then take the truck for a quick "easy" drive. If the noise is gone you know what the problem is.
You can lube the bushings and reinstall for the time being or replace the bushings. |
