wheres the thermostat housing
ok,this is the dumb question of the day...but here goes...i have a 91 escort,1.9 liter engine,and want to change the thermostat for the winter.but i can find the housing,usually at the end of the top rad hose,and waterpump.i see a strange square housing unit that the rad hose connects to,but that dont look right.please ,any assistance would be helpful!

You are right about the location. I found it very easy to do my removing the coil pack. Then you can see a lot better.
