92 Rear Disk replacement

I'm replacing the rear disk brakes on my 92 Cutlass Supreme and I can't get the piston back in. Does it screw CW or CCW. Everything is pretty corroded so I've also tried to change the caliper andf I can't get the brake line off.

Can't even put the old pads back in to get to a shop. What can I do? Help!!!!

Do you have the proper tool? You will need to put pressure on the piston as you turn it in clockwise.

Yes, I have the tool but it seems to come out when I turn it clockwise. Are the 2 sides of the car different? I'm doing the driver's side.

Re: 92 Rear Disk replacement

Must keep inward pressure using tool, should be cw, try the other way just keep making up the tool to keep the pressure on the piston, it's always a pita. You ca easily see if it starts to go inward.
