2001 warm stalls

It wont stall while warming up, but as soon as its at operating temp and you lift off the gas it will stall. No sputtering or choking, just acts as if you turned the ignition off.

If you try to restart it it instantly stalls after revving to 1k or so. Weve changed MAF sensors and the air filter is decent. Ive disconnected the battery to reset the computer.

Ive also taken a look at the vacuum lines and they seem to be alright.

Any help would be appreciated!

Re: 2001 warm stalls

my truck also had a stalling problem like yours. It would just slip from idle to dead with out a fuss.
What i did (in order):
Clean throttle body
Check spark plugs
Check PCV valve
Replace fuel filter
Replaced gas cap (leaking)
Cleaned injectors

I think i fixed mine, but that's what i thought last time...

Re: 2001 warm stalls

i hate to bump an old thread, but my problem is not fixed. It stalled two more times. Once while moving (35mph). I had the evap hoses replaced and the evap vavle assembly both from check engine light codes. It stalled again right after a stop sign. Tundrasolutions says it may be the torque converter staying locked up. It's going to the dealer regardless.
