2001 lesabre rear brake pad replacement

Does anyone out there know if it's an easy job, or are any special techniques needed on replacing rear brake pads on a 2001 buick lesabre? I have done it on many older vehicles, but not on a newer GM vehicle.
thanks for any help, I do not have a service manual.

Hello

Do you have rear disks or drums? Sence you're asking how hard it's to replace "Pads" I'm asuming you have disks.

Rear disks are a little more trickier than front disks. On the rear you have the parking brake to deal with. This requires turning the piston back in instead of just pushing it. Brakes have not changed much over the years.

I would check out a manual at your library.

Regards

Dan
