The heated mirrors are part of the rear defroster system, they have nothing to do with the windows. The mirrors warm up when you put the rear defroster on. On my 98 heated mirrors were standard with the rear and front windshield defrosters. A dealer auto parts counter person should know if the mirrors are interchangeable.
