Heated Seats

Is it possible to add aftermarket heated seats to a 97 town car signature series with leather seats? Can that be hooked up to a factory switch to make it look stock? They still sell 2000 heated seat pads, F8VX14D696-AA, which are the same for a 97. If the after market do not work, can I use factory? If so, is there anything else I need. The service manual cd showed a heated seat modual. Do I need that also?

You will need the module, pad and switch along with a relay.

The after maket heated seats seem to be have everything that is needed. Can they be hooked up to the factory door switch? It has a dial and I don't know if that matters because the after market ones have only high/low positions.
