'05 Impala-can't disable auto door locks

My owners manual states that I can disable any automatic functioning of the door locks. This is supposed to be adjustable through the radio. Every other feature programable through the radio is and has been adjusted, i.e. reset the oil life monitor, headlights on after turning off, chime volume, etc.

I cannot make the door locks cycle through any of the four settings available, to include shutting off any automatic functioning. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Re: '05 Impala-can't disable auto door locks

what do you mean by you cant change them, you cant find them or when you change them it doesnt stay changed. when you find the choice you want you should just have to hit the DISP button to make your selection. I think thats how I changed mine. hold the DISP, find autolock in the settings, hit disp, then go thru the choices, stop on the one you want and hit disp again, then it should go back to the previous main seting menu then you can go to exit and hit sisp again, or just let it sit there for a few seconds and it'll exit on its own.

otherwise you might have a stereo problem.
