2000 Chevy Blazer - Power seats problem

Hi,

I searched the forum for an answer to my question, and found nothing. . . My appologies if this has already been asked because I could not find it if so.

My 2000 Chevy Blazer's power seats are not working. I am trying to find the circuit breaker for them but am unable to do so.

Can anyone provide the location of this breaker?

On my '96 it's in the fuse block on the drivers end of the dash, 30 amp metal fuse...I would check the wiring going to the seats to make sure connections are tight if the fuse/breaker checks out ok

As stated above, it's in the fusebox. It's the top breaker... That said, feel if it's warm with the car off..(Short) Also remove the seat bolts (you can still get in there with a 15mm box wrench) Disconnect the 2 power connectors undeneath the seat. Meter them. Orange is 12v contsant, black ground... Understand that both seats are on the same wires. If you're not getting power, get under the carpet and check for wear in the wires (feet kill these wires as do water from snow mixed with salt. It all eventually corrodes) If you find damage, run a multimeter behind the damage to see if there is power there. If so, simply splice in a new piece of wiring (use solder and heat shrink then wrap in tape.)
