There's a noise coming from my trunk that sound's like a cricket. Usually about 2000 rpm's. I can hear it over my x-pipe, and radio. I tightend the nut's on the shelf that hold's the sound system up, no luck. My friend rode in the back with the seat down and said it sound's like the amp. It's driving me crazy any idea's?

if you have the two separate decks then pull out the top deck(radio/cassette) and on the back of the deck around where the antena is pulled in there's a small metal flap kinda sticking out. the should be a ground wire the slips over that flap. if it's not there poke a round inside the opening until you find an extra wire, they tend to pull themselves off to the righthand side of the opening under the braces to the decks.
if your ground is connectedthen put that deck back and check the cd deck it'll be in the back of the deck on the right side - ming-toy |
