Past: Rick Mears, Bobby Rahal
Present: Danica Patrick, for the guts to do what she does and have the attitude about it that she has. Dan Wheldon, for winning and staying focused and not (at least not publicly) being bitter about being an also-ran in the popularity category. After today, add MARCO ANDRETTI to the list!

I was a Al Unser fan back in the day and i liked Gil de Ferran too.
Recently ive liked Helio, but Marco did a whole lot to win me over yesterday, and i bet he won over a lot of other people too. by the way, i was sitting on the start/finish line five rows up in the infield... best finish ive ever seen. Danica is cool and i like her but she isnt necessarily my favorite driver. but i will say that i really really appreciate what she is doing for the sport. thank god for danica.
