99 2.2l Problem

I notice when I go 30 + or stop and go traffic i will start to feel really hot air come threw my vents and by the gas pedal. I dunno whats causing it either .

OK, I'll bite, have you checked the position of your heater switch? If it's in the floor vent position, that'ss where the heat will come out. If you cant contro where the air comes out (either vent/defrost/or floor heat) then you probably have a vacuume hose leak behind the heater contro panel. The reason it happens after 30+ miles is because thats about when your truck heats up and the hot water flows through your heater core. Try lowering the temp if nothing else, then you'll have nice cool air blowing on your legs. Hope this helps. Lee

humm

The air is shut off. Everything is shut of. AC , VENT everything.

I believe that there should always some airflow. Yes, even in the "OFF" position. I have the same thing on my s-10. I even noticed it a bit on my Hyundai also, i'm thinking its to help with the cabin air, keeping it moving. because you're not going to drive with the windows open all year (depending on where you live).

hum

No the air is very hot. It almost melts my shoe. Well not really but its not normal. I have a 2001 Blazer and never felt it.
