Tranny Problems
I have a 96 ram 1500/4x4 and when idleing up and down hill the transmission slips in to netural and i have to either put the shifter in neutral and back into drive or hit the gas and make is reinage. does any one have any suggestions besides a rebuild.

Try putting Lucas in first.You can find Lucas at certain auto parts store and get the one for transmissions.Also check the bottom transmission line towards the radatior.There is a plastic checkball in that line that some dumb engineer thought of putting in that line.There is a problem with that checkball in that line,the checkball is plastic and melts right up resulting a plugged up line.It will burn up a transmission.Get rid of that plastic checkball by drilling it out and a spring will follow.Blow out the line out after that.
