There is no heat in side my GP

I own 1994 Grand Prix SE 3.1 Liter engine with 160,000 miles, I have just replaced the radiator and the relays that engage the cooling fan. After about 2 weeks I notice that temperature would go all the way to 260 degrees and the temp light would come on. Then as the car would run for awile the temperature would stay around 240 degress or so and there would be no heat available in the car. Can someone help me with this problem.

Re: There is no heat in side my GP

I just have a similar problem when i had someone repair myu radiador tri checking to see if the radiator if full. if you dont know how to do that take off the radiator cap when the engine is cold. start the car and let it run for a while until it is warm. then check the level if you cant see any then add coolant. hopefully its just that. good luck.

If you didn't bleed the cooling system, you have air trapped and need to do so.
