wait, have you even bought the car yet??? becuase if you got a naturally aspirated car (no turbos) than you don't have any of those things...

now if you do have a turbo'd car, than a great resource would also be www.howstuffworks.com and type in those words in the search field... believe it or not, they give great explinations

Get the car, then buy parts.

That's how it works.

Re: Sorry more questions me is newbie

nothin wrong with the guy, we all start somewere.

best thing to do is search on google and look up the parts and im sure it will explain things very well.

basics: bov releases air built up from turbo's, wich gives turbo's slightly faster time to spool up again.

intercooler is a part of the car that keeps the turbo's cool. the cooler the engine the better the engine will perform.

ad boost controler is a device that controlls the peak at wich your turbo's reach. excuse me if i am not making much sense, i am drunk right now, i tend to get sensitive and tell my friends how much i love them when i'm drunk, so the first thing i thought about was af.
anyway

thats the basics, google search and learn more, and igovert500 took his time out to make a faq, for people like you to learn info about our cars. so go to the top of the page and read the faq.

everything you mention is only on a turbo charged car, not a n/a
