general question

hey, this isnt a gp question, or pontiac for that matter but you guys know alot. My buddy has a 97 cavalier and her day times work, the hi-beams work..but her low-beams only work when the car is warmed up..any ideas?

haha..good answer..yeah i drove that car..have gone faster in soap box cars..

It's probably a headlight/multifunction switch starting to go bad. Those switches are a fairly common problem, and cause all kinds of odd lighting issues, including what you describe, when they start to fail.
