Transmission mount

I have a 91 accord automatic, and it shifts HARD when I'm slowing down (you can hear it click into gear), I am wondering if it is the mount, or possibly the cables. I don't know how to tell if the mount is bad, but I've heard if the CV joints are bad, that can cause it to "clunk," (my joints are bad), but I'm not sure its the problem.

check all of your mounts for cracks or brake, just for the record, when was the last time you had your tranny serviced?
