look alike
how can you tell a zc from a b18a they look alike

There is a spot on the front passenger side of the motor that is machined off, it has a ZC stamped in it. If it's a B18 It should have that stamped there.

no you can tell. The ZC is alot smaller of a motor than the B18A and like sikocivic said....just look on the block and it will either say "ZC" or "B18A".
