She wants me to stay and take the training and then move but i cant take her crying every night. Im going insane because i miss her. what should i do guys stay or move on the 1500? sorry for the rant im just really confused on what to do right now.

Re: what would you do?

Yea the thing with being a CO is atleast around here, you get moved around a lot when you first start. I have friends who didn't see their dad's for like months at a time because they lived 6 hours away in a town where a prison was. Construction is pretty good gig, but not always steady. Kinda gotta figure this one out with your girl and on your own. Peace-

Good luck.

Well if she's the one, then go for it. If she's not, then take care of your business first.

Re: what would you do?

I feel she is the one. I figure i got 620 in cash plus the 1400 for my settlement.Thats $2020 cash. Rent is 500, 200 deposit, 100 for gas, food 100, utilites 300 and my car payment is 334 so thats 1554. Which leaves me with $446 left over and i got a whole month to find a job and if i make at least $7.50/hr i can make it so ya im gone next friday guys give me a holla if you live near el paso,tx

Re: what would you do?

No one has considered another option: she could move to where you are. Just a thought.

Re: what would you do?

why don't you move in with her? itll save you on rent. she wants you to move that far from home and won't offer to put you up for awhile?

i find that bizarre. if i had moved to california for my ex (i was living in toronto), id damn well expect us to be living together.

Re: what would you do?

Further, wait for your test. It's only two weeks. You'll have a better shot at finding a job if you pass that test.

Re: what would you do?

Well said, Jabby. If she's so crazy about you, she should be willing to move to where you are, or at least have a discussion about it. Does she have a place? A job? If you've got a good position where you are and she doesn't, figure out what makes the best sense. YOu could also look at both of you moving to where your job is going to be.

Re: what would you do?

She lives with her mom right now. She goes to school full time ( forensic sientist at utep). Shes moving in with me because she dont get along with her mom. Also shes getting a job as a waitres at this exspenisive resturant they make like 250/night. She cant move her because ive messed up to many times with selling drugs and fighting. So here is not an option. I got an interview there next monday at as a border patrol officer and it pays 15.50 or i get to be stuck in a gun tower at a max prison for 12.75. I figure either way it works because i work with prisoners now but ya i move saturday. i found a two bedroom and 2 bath apartment for $586 only thing i pay is a $15 water bill and a $50 electric bill which isint bad plus i get a free phone and cable. It comes with every thing but furniture and it has a pool and wieght room. My girlfriend is moving in a wk or so before christmas and my other roomate will be moving in the 12 of dec. so it works.
