Radio

I have an 89 lx, and my brother just got rid of his car. He had a Polk 12" sub and amp with power cords and I was wondering if the stock radio could push it good enough. Thanks

Re: Radio

you mean with out the amp that your brother uses? there is no way for the stock deck to power a 12 inch sub, not even with the factory 25 watt amp. you could get an amp for <50 on ebay.

The stock radio can barely "push" the stock speakers. You'll definately want to get an amp for it, and possibly a new head unit.
