Autoride

Hi,

Getting an intermittent message, "Service Autoride/Check Autoride", and then it goes away.

Other than the obvious...has anyone else seen this?

Re: Autoride

Have you had any luck trying to trouble shoot this. I took mine into the dealer and the charged me $90 to more or less tell me my light was on. They then told me it would be another $360 to pinpoint the problem. And that's not fixing anything yet. I am a Porsche mechanic, but didn't have access to the factory computer. I have now learned that it's pretty much worthless. I noticed in driving that the right side seemed to ride softer than the left. I then crawled underneath and noticed that the right front suspension bump stop was badly worn. This would of course indicate a bad shock. I called the dealer and there only $375 a piece. I am hoping that the is an after market conversion that will disable the Autoride without causing the dummy light to come on. Any thoughts..........?
