Overhead console with DIC

Hi, I have read many posts about upgrading my overhead console to one with the driver information center. I have no problem following the excellent directions posted in this and the Montana forum. The problem I am having is finding one to install. I've tried ebay and the local junk yards without luck. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on one? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I believe that there is one for sale on ebay today under the Silhouette heading. I see about 2 a week on ebay. The starting price is around $20.00 u.s.

Try searching eBay using the terms "overhead console" (no quotes).

I saw about 5 GM Minivan consoles just now (from 5 pages of search results), 2 or 3 that would work (2000 model year or above). Of course, if you are picky about the color, your choices may be limited. But if all you want is to add the Driver Info Center, that should not be a problem (assuming you have the console with a storage area in its place).

gls02 is right - 2 or 3 consoles show up almost every week on eBay. Just use the "Saved Search" feature of eBay to get a notification (via email) of when a new console listing is added.

Thanks for the info. I've done searches for overhead console but got nothing that would fit my GM. Maybe I'm going about it wrong but I thought I was Ebay savvy. I didn't even think about the Silhouette though.

O.K., I see my ebay problem. Nothing appears on the ebay.ca site but does appear on the ebay.com site. Now I can find some consoles. Thanks.
