95 park climate control blinking -help please

hi- i had to disconnect my positive battery cable about 2 weeks ago to clean it and now about 10-15 seconds after the car is started the readout on the climate control starts to blink and if you turn on the heater it blows cold until the blinking stops and then returns to normal. is there anyway to reset this? has anybody had this problem? i put in a blend door motor last summer and at the first start up the readout blinked but then it must have reset i have had no problems until now.(when i disconnected the battery) any answers would be appreciated

When it is blinking, it is telling you that a code has been set. You need a scanner to read the code on the 95. You could have a different problem from what you have had in the past. Call several AC shops to see if they can read the codes and if they can, ask them how much they charge.

thanks- HOT Z28 for the reply but you don`t think it has anything to do with me disconnecting the battery? it started to happen as soon as i reconnected the battery and started the car. thank ruffo66

You might try disconnecting the negative cable for about 30 sec and then hook it back up. Sometimes it will reset, however not if you have a valid code that continues to reset.
