2000 Yukon Denali

Hey guys:

I have a 2000 yukon denali (62K) and last month, I had to change the original battery. Ever since I changed betteries, my dome light will not come on unless the over ride button is in the out position. My dome light used to come on when you open any door and then dim slightly until they are completley out.
Also I noticed that my Bose radio will not stay on after ignition key is off and keys are out like it used to. Once ignition key is off and keys are out, radio will not stay on and windows will not go up and down.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Tony Da Tiger

When the dome override is in the "out" position, than is normal for dome lights to come on. The "in" position is override.

You are right bcopeland. I had it backwards. Guess what guys: I spoke with the dealer and I was told to check for a stuck door switch so I did, and indeed, right rear door switch was stuck. I got it unstuck, and everything seems to work fine now.
