Truck is not level

What's up,

I've got a '93 shortbed regular cab, and it has never sat perfectly level. When you park it in a parking lot or some perfectly flat road, looking at the truck from the back reveals that the right (pass) side is about 1-2" lower than the left. I have seen many other chevy trucks with this same problem. Usually the C-1500s, though. Any thoughts or experience with this annoying deal? Thanks.

Sounds like it is set up for a very heavy driver. Just had to say that, sorry!

Look close at the right rear spring for a crack in a leaf,
You should be able to adjust or crank up the front torsion bar.
Or does your truck have coils all around?

It's known as the Chevy Lean. Don't know why it's like that, but it is. It's moreso on the NBS chevy's than older.

I've been concerned about the same thing on my 97, It always
seems to be leaning one way or another and has always been
low in the front. It doesn't have the straight proud stance of
other trucks. I can't afford a lift and some say screwing with
the torsion bar isn't good on other components. I can say
though, the ride is better than any other truck I've been in.
I'll probably just deal with it unless there is a moderate cost
solution that doesn't affect drivability much.

Also, gas tank fullness doesn't seem
to be the main prob.

my 96 leans to the drivers side, and it's pretty low in the front. I think it's a chevy thing, or it's cause im fat. I dont know which one it is though.
