'95 VR6 wont start....HELP!?!

'95 VW GTI VR6-followed the steps and still nothing...

my girl's car refuses to start and i absolutely need it running ASAP....

ok so i did my home work...checked out boschmann's plan of attack so it seems everyone else has...it solved my alarm problem...but the problem now is that when i turn the key the starter will not engage, i dont even here the fuel pump....is there something i am missing...

i am pretty sure i have faulty door locking mechanism...but would the fact that the door locks dont work cause the engine not to even attempt to start?...for now...thinkin it might be the starter and i am takin it up to autozone to have them test it for me just too make sure...

so what all could it be? ECU? door locks? immobilizer? and if it is the immobilizer where is this damn thing located how do i fix it? i see it being talked about but no one will say where it is located or how to fix/bypass it....
