digital DIC

is it possible to put the digital DIC in a 98 gt that didnt come with it without too much hassle? is it just a matter of wiring it in or how much more is there to it.

also, im looking for the simplest way to get the engine out. if anyone has any tips, id appreciate them as i have to drive 6 hrs to the car before starting to label and unhook the harness and pull the motor.

TIA

Re: digital DIC

I know of one guy with a 98 GT that was able to find a connector for a GTP type DIC in his wiring harness. The dash panel and DIC have to be removed and it's located behind. But there is no guarantee you will have all the functions and rewiring or splicing may be required. Your current DIC is hard wired.

On the engine pull, there is no simple way. Good luck!
