I have been told that it's possible that the computer is bad in my van. Does any one know what the cost of ehst that is and what maybe I should look out for?

Re: Computer
Need a lot more information from you.
Year, engine size, transmission type is a good start. Depending on the year, you may be able to get one from a salvage yard. Also depending on the year, you may have to have the VIN and Mileage flashed into it by a dealer. |

Re: Computer
I used to have a 99 2.4 3-speed AT.
You can use a used computer from a salvage yard, if your trans is a 3-speed (most are in this year w/2.4) you probably won't have to have the VIN flashed. You will want to keep the receipt for the computer though b/c the computer has a mileage stored in it and the odometer has the mileage stored in it. If they do not match when the vehicle is inspected, a odometer fraud warning may get attached to your title by the DMV. Why do you think you need a new computer? |

The mechanic said that all the cam sensors were working but I was getting no spark and the injector's were not getting loaded. He was going to check if the computer was getting all the power it needs and if it is he say's its most likly that it's the computer
