ABS INOP - light on?

I was driving today and I had to slam on my brakes and I think the light came on after, I didn't check if it stayed on after I turned on the car. I got to work, turned off the car for 5 seconds and the light turned off. Any thoughts

Re: ABS INOP - light on?

when it turns on it just means that you had to use the abs system.

Re: ABS INOP - light on?

Screw abs, i wouldnt worry about it. When you look at most used cars that light is always on. Usally a messed up sensor not reading right. Since yours diidnt come back on i dont think it is a problem.

Re: ABS INOP - light on?

might be a loose connection or something, mine has done that a few times but it will turn off after a while. U might just have thrown the sensor for a trip.

Re: ABS INOP - light on?

dude when your abs inop light comes on when u hit the brakes and stays on for awhile it means u need brakes. mines does that when its time for a change. check them and see if its about that time
