Re: help did a boo boo
How much is a little?
How much does 3 quarts of trans fluid cost? Trans fluid I think is like hydraulic fluid, which doesnt like to be contaminated. Granted you are talking about some small amount. I would suggest looking into what happens to engine oil when mixed with trans fluid. Also what happens to trans fluid when it is exposed to oil. These are two pretty different substances. Talk to some old mechanic guys. Im sure its happened before. |

Re: help did a boo boo
I wouldn't take the chance. Just drain it out and start all over again with fresh filter and ATF. Oil is to heavy for the hydraulic system of the trans. You'll definitely regret it later when the valve body of your trans clog’s and something burns out.
