hmm chips?
alright my friend is trying to sell me an s200 chip for 250...good deal? are chips worth it? i plan to supercharge my lude after the winter so should i just wait til then to get a chip or should i just do it now if i have the opporitunity?

By s200 i'm assuming you mean a Hondata s200; in which case its a whole piggyback, not just a chip.
The base price for an s200 is $295, so its really up to you. Depending on what additional upgrades he has on it, it might be worth it. KEEP IN MIND that in order for you to tune with forced induction on the s200 it requires a $200 upgrade.

If you are gonna mod it and need a good tuning program then go for it. Hondata is great.

a 200 dollar upgrade to the forced indunction (supercharger) or to the chip?

I think a rule should be -- Don't get a chip unless you see a dyno chart. Really, you wouldn't be able to know where to start without some log of your engine, whether it be wideband or dyno (or most preferably, both!)
