vtech rpm?
alright...come to find out my vtech kicks in late...it take til about 5800....does this have anything to do with my tiptronic transmission? or did it just get adjusted by accedent or soemthing...oh and im gettin a new timing belt this weekend...should i expect any difference in performance?

VTEC, not vtech.
Did the car have a VTEC controller before?

you always bitch about ppls spelling....its not that big of a deal...anyway naw the ecu has been left the same as far as i kno...i just got the car in august so yea....and timing belt?

Tiptronic has always been pretty laggy in all the cars I've been in/driven. Anyways VTEC is RPM dependent and is actuated by the ECU -- if you claim that is okay, then there's little else. While camshaft timing plays a direct part in VTEC manipulation of the valves, it does not itself initiate the coupling of VTEC lobes. In other words, if your timing was incorrect, your car would run poorly but VTEC would engage at the correct RPM.
