answer to electrical problems

i got this from another forum it seems alot of people have my problem with the electrical system i have this same problem. but it all went out at the same time. hope this helps some one because its had me baffled for awhile.

"Major Electrical Problems 09-08-2005, 11:41 PM"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Hey guys,

I was just wondering if any others have ever had any electrical problems with the car. I have had to take my car to the dealership on 3 separate occasions to get my BCM (Body Control Module) replaced. Its a major pain, electrical stuff just stops working 1 by 1 until almost nothing works. Currently I am driving a 2003 car that I still owe 14k on, neither window works, no AC, no blinkers, no power locks...nada. Not being able to use AC is one thing, but can't roll the windows down either?!? I'm in Florida and it sucks. I've had to resort to driving down the road while holding my door cracked just to get a little air. Oh wait, forgot a whole different list of problems, my door chime continues to ding even with doors closed driving down the road, air bag light has come on and no rear taillights. The dealership just had my car for 2 and a half weeks, they give it back saying that they are not sure whats wrong but that they think an aftermarket car alarm I got installed is causing the problem. I had it professionally installed and contacted some local places, all said that it shouldn't cause any electrical problems. I'm gonna get the alarm taken off and take my car back to the dealership again, but I dunno if they will even be able to fix the problem since they have failed in the past.

I missed the lemon law by like 40 days =(

Thanks for the input everyone..
