Can anyone tell me where the knock sensor is located on a 2001 trooper V6 4x4?

I'm not sure the 2000+ 3.2/3.5 has a knock sensor .

Well I can't say for sure if it does, but I went in to Auto Zone and told them what I needed and for what vechicle and they sold me one. So I guess it does.

It started clattering a few weeks ago we thought maybe it was a bad tank of gas and then last Friday the Check engine light came on so we had a friend check it out and it was supposedly the knock sensor so we bought one and just could'nt locate it just looking around and thought it would be better to have an idea of where it is before taking it apart searching for it, does that make sense?
