can i disconnect my isc for like 5 miles of driving

i need to drop my car off at a local body shop i was wondering if i could disconnect my isc because it is currently malfuctioning. and the new one wont be here for a while

ISC = idle speed control or something like that right? You might, have to keep on the gas to keep it running, but I bet you could do it. The only way to find out is to try.

Build on hold until I get a good paying job, either in school or once I get out. At that time a full tear down and complete rebuild should be in order.
