Hey gang,
I've got a 2001 F-150 (fully loaded). It's a great truck, but for the past couple of weeks, I've noticed that the overhead console has been stuck at 68 degrees even when the outside temp was at 43 degrees. I've followed the directions from the manual on how to set or reset the region or zone, but it's still stuck at 68 degrees. Has anyone experienced this? Do I have to take it into the dealership? Thanks, KidAce |

Re: Overhead Console stuck at 68 Degrees
Thanks for the suggestions, Transgta.
Per your recommendation, I did check ALL the fuses, but none of them were burnt-out. I guess I should correct my previous statement in saying that the read-out is "stuck" at 68 degrees... What I've been noticing, lately, is the temp reads about 20-25 degrees higher than the actual outside temp. Anyone ave anysuggestions? Thanks, KidAce. |

Re: Overhead Console stuck at 68 Degrees
Well... wouldn't you know it. The Overhead Console Tem read-out is slowly starting come down closer to the real-feel. This evening, it read 49 Degrees while the Bank sign read 45 Degrees.
I'm not sure what's up with it, but I'll wait a little bit longer to see what it decides to do through the winter. |
